Cheap and Easy DIY Valentines Gift Idea

If you want to get your Valentine a thoughtful gift but you have small budget, I've got just the thing for you!  You don't have to spend a lot of money on a present to show you care, taking the time to make a gift or wrap it in a special way will make your valentine feel super special 💕

Here's a super easy tutorial of how to wrap a chocolate bar, but make it look fancy!

What you need:

A chocolate bar - preferably your valentine's favourite.

Wrapping paper - I've used my daisy design here

Double sided tape

Scissors

Step 1.

Measure out you paper so you have enough to fold over the bar and cover it completely.  A good size tends to be roughly 2.5 x the width of the bar and and extra inch at both the top and the bottom.

Step 2 :

Put the bar in the centre of the paper and fold the left side over, attach a piece of double sided tape to the right flap and then fold it over to seal the sides together over the bar.

Step 3:

Add a piece of double sided tape at the short end and firmly close it by sticking the sides together.  Do the same to the other side.

Step 4:

Use your scissors to cut out small triangle shapes at both ends to give them serrated edges.

This tutorial is a great way to use up wrapping paper scraps and also a great reason to keep those small bits as they will always come in useful later down the line!
