3 ways to say ‘I love you’ this Valentine’s Day

If I cast my memory back far enough I can still remember the rumble of excitement before Valentine’s Day wondering if I was going to get any cards that year or how many kisses there would be inside or who would it actually be from?! While for me it is a little more predictable now seeing as I am married, it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to recreate a little bit of that excitement, I mean why the hell not?!

So seeing as you can't take your Valentine out for a fancy meal or whisk them away for a romantic trip this year why not pull out all the stops with your card instead to show your love.

Luckily for you that's something I know a thing or two about and I have some perfect options for you...

Now here goes, 3 ways to say ‘I love you’ this Valentine’s Day…

  1. So I know that they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach but with Matt, humour would trump food every time. Being light hearted and silly is fun and that is what inspired my latest collection of animal pun Valentine’s Day cards. If your way of saying I love you is through laughter then I whaley think you will turtley and otterly adore these cards – I for one puffin love them!

  1. They say a photo says a thousand words. What better way to show your love this Valentine's day than with your favourite photo. It's super simple, there's a button to upload your image to the website and I'll print it out as a polaroid style photo which I then attach to the card. This can be removable which then acts as a keepsake that your Valentine can treasure. You also choose your own message for the front of the card to make this a truly thoughtful personalised card.

  1. Finally this year I thought that I would design some Galentine’s Day cards! This day was invented by a character in Parks and Recreation (epic!) and for those who don’t know, it is basically just an excuse to tell any/all of your friends that you love them! It is celebrated on 13th February and for me, this year more than ever it is going to be so important to show my friends how much I love them!

I hope that this has given you a few ideas and don’t forget that while sending a handwritten card makes you happy, if you really want the element of surprise I can insert the message for you and send directly to the recipient! Just pop the message and address in the notes section when you checkout and I will take care of the rest.

Lots of love
